Milton Collins EL, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist, who has worked with Anxiety patients, children, adolescents and their families for over 20 years, own the practice. He has special interest in working with Anxiety and Depression patients formed out of his extensive working in related environments. Milton worked extensively with anxiety and depressed patients and chemically dependent patients at Florida Psychiatric Associates

Milton received his undergraduate degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Long Island University in 1972. He received a Masters degree in urban Studies from LIU in 1976. He received a second Masters Degree in Social Work in 1988. For 14 years he worked in the school of "hard knocks" at Bronx Lebanon Child and Adolescent services where he specialized in working with children with serious conduct disorders. He worked with their families, intervened at their schools and ran latency and adolescent groups. From 1997 to 2001, Milton worked extensively with anxiety and depression patients at Florida Psychiatric Associates.

Mr. Collins EL has received certification and training as a clinical hypnotherapist and addiction specialist, who has worked with the addiction population in New York and Florida. He is currently employed as a treatment coordinator at the Orlando Methadone Treatment Center. He has also done Social/Family Evaluations for the Osceola County Court System.

All this background and different scenarios have given Mr. Collins a wide area of expertise relating to Anxieties, Depression, OCD and Panic Disorder, which can be found in all of the above-mentioned environments.

Mr. Milton Collins EL has now joined the Midwest Center for Anxiety and Depression in order to spread the word into the community and to offer an appropriate therapeutic approach for this market segment.

He is also supported by associates who focus on Motivational and Anxiety coaching as well as Image development, Career Mentoring and who assist with the development of ongoing learning sessions.
